UPDATE 9/15/09 - Gracie-who used to be Jersie girl-is doing awesome!  We have had her home for about a month and she has grown so fast!  She weighs just over 15 lbs.  She has learned to sit and give her paws.  Coming and staying are a work in progress.  She sleeps in her kennel at night and is what we consider to be house trained (although we don't give her much of a chance to make mistakes)
We have contacted the obedience trainer who asked us to wait another week or so and then she will either get us into a class or she will give private lessons.
Gracie is such a wonderful addition to our family and are so happy to have her with us!

8/12/09 - I was adopted today!

7/28/09 -
Hello I am Jersey (girl).  My FM just loves to call me that.  I am such a fun
little girl.  I LOVE to eat.  I LOVE to play.  I run around all over the place.
I am really learning my bark.  My FM is constantly checking on me to make sure I
did not get myself into any trouble.  I am not a trouble maker, I just like to
explore.  I like to cuddle with her and her girls.  She laughs at me all the
time.  I don't think I'm being funny, but she does.  I just love doing puppy
things.  I will be 6 weeks old tomorrow 7/28.  My FM says I am growing like a
little cow lol.  She keeps giving me kisses and telling me she loves me.  I love
her too.  I would love a forever home family to take me home and rub my belly
and let me lay my head down on their lap.  I am a really good girl.

What a sweet girl.  She is the biggest of the litter.  She is doing quite well.  She loves to play with her siblings and the little toys they have.  She started on mush today and really loved it.  She is still getting her bottle of formula between mush feedings.  We are working on drinking from the bowl and that is going very well.  She is a pleasure to foster. Jersey weighs in a whopping -- 3.7 pounds

- This little girl, along with her brothers and sisters, were set to come into rescue with their Mamma. Sadly, before we could get them up here, she was killed. So there they were, two weeks old and helpless, so Auntie Dee and Aunti Liz became surrogates. All of them were a little weak when they came to us and made everyone a little nervous. But they're started to thrive and have really taken to the bottle feedings. We'll keep you updated as they start to grow and develop personalities (which means learning to escape and get into trouble, right?) We know that Mom was a Boxer but we don't know who dad was, so we're calling them "Boxer Mix". But, pictures speak louder than words.
