MINNIE
Back to Available Dogs
Return to SCBR Home
12/11/08 - Minnie (named for Minnie Mouse because of her size and adorable
personality) is a very small (mini-sized) girl with a very large heart.  Sweet to
everyone and the mama dog in our house.  She actually has a calming effect on
our two 2 year olds (boxer and american bulldog), and quiets them right down
when they get too rough - an almost silent but serious growl - and they
immediately take a break!  Liz brought Minnie to us last week and she entered our
home and became acclimated immediately.  Introductions were through her crate
and she just couldn't wait to be out with the crowd.  Within 24 hours, she was one
of the pack.  Minnie has been struggling with severe kennel cough and is now on
the road to recovery.  Thin when she came to us, she even got thinner from not
eating as a result of her infection.  After a shot of penicillin and a couple of
antibiotics, she is a completely different girl and her appetite is voracious. Her
FAVORITE activity is sitting next to you with her head on your lap!  She walks well
on a leash and is very well behaved-she has become an asset to our dog and
people family - it is going to be difficult to part with her.

12/3/08 - Minnie has arrived.  She was a stray to a local shelter.  More info soon
from her foster home.
