UPDATE 6/6/10 - What is there to say she is the most she likes car ride eveytime i get my hat she jumps around her but wiggles so much i think it goin to fall off.She likes goin up to her uncle martys she get to see lea her 4 legged cousin she is a yorkie they get along so well. we go to the gas staion she gets treats she growls and barks at the guy when we get there then the treat comes she takes it from him then growls at him again. she is the best no complaintes here love her to death.

UPDATE 2/14/10 - Our Thalia is doing great. She completed obedience training a couple of weeks ago. She did very well and got along with the other dogs in her class, well ok, she was the oldest and the biggest.
Thalia had fun in the last snow storm, running aound the yard and eating the snow. She's funny, there is one ringtone on my phone that she howls at when it rings.
She's a little interested in the new cat we adopted, (cookie kitty found our back door and we couldn't leave her out in the snow and ice. Think she was abandoned, no one has claimed her. We had a vet check her also).
Just want to thank SCBR. What a terrific group you all are.

UPDATE 1/8/10 - Thalia is doing just great.  Thalia met her new relatives over the holidays and everyone was amazed that she is so well behaved. She gets along with her cousins too. We even had to stay overnight because of the bad weather. Our first sleep away!
Thalia is doing well with obedience training with just a few more sessions to go. She is eating well and loves her walks and loves going for rides with Dad. He takes her almost everywhere. She is so good.

UPDATE 12/7/09 - Thalia is such a sweetie. She doesn't get into anything. No counter surfing, garbage cans or anything. Even our cat Socks is shocked, she isn't being chased by a dog. Thalia just ignores her. Well, the first couple of days with us she wanted to go to work with Ron, went to the door with him. He told her she had to stay with mom so upstairs she went and snuggled up with me. Now she pretty much has the house routine now. She gets up early with Ron, eats, goes potty and back to bed for a while.
Last weekend we took Thalia to meet my brother and sister-in-law. They live about an hour north of us. She met one of her cousins, Leia a Yorkie, and they got along great. They even went to the doggy park. Thalia also loves riding in the car. She will go anywhere, anytime.
Thalia had a case of the runs the first week we had her so we took her to the vet. She did have a bacterial infection which was treated with antibiotics. Think it was combination of changing her food to quickly but all is well. The vet checked her out and she is fine.
We just started obedience training this weekend. Thalia is in an intermediate class with a cocker spaniel and 2 baby chihauas. They  are so cute. She made friends with everyone. We are working on distractions which usually happens when we are taking a walk and there are other dogs sometimes she barks or has tried to drag me across the street to them.
All we can say is Thalia is such a well behaved lady (other than trying to drag me)and she gets lots of lovin. I think she gave us a little smile the other day!

11/7/09 - Thalia has been adopted!

10/21/09 -
Hi, Thalia here. ,I have been with my FF for about 2 and a half weeks now.  I have a playmate (Casey )  that I play with and have lots of fun. I really like this place. They feed me well, I go for lots of walks. My foster mom tells me that I will make a good addition to the family that adopts me.  They tell me I'm a love bug becauseI love to give kisses and love to cuddle. My FM says that I wll not be here to long because the forever family that will adopt me will be calling any day now. I will be waiting for you .
See ya later

- Hello Everyone.  Thalia has been with us for 1 week now and she is a very good girl. She is housebroken , eats & drinks well. She just loves to get on the furniture if you let her.  She is very sweet, is crate trained & walks on the leash very well.  She does not jump on you when you sit down but will come over and sit down, put her paws on your lap and  stand up. I think that is a nice way for her to not jump on you.  This girl is absolutely gorgeous and I don't think she will be around for too long! She knows her forever home will be making the call any minute.  That is why she never goes anywhere without my cell phone!
