| UPDATE 7/30/10 - It’s me Bruno checking in for my 3 month update. Mom & Dad just told us that we are getting a brother this weekend. I am so excited that the boys will rule the house!! 3 against 1!
Mom tells us our new brother’s name is Otto and that he is very handsome (like me) but has a heart condition and I will need to be gentle with him. I think we will get along fine because I also like to hang back and chill. Jerri and I have been going to doggy manner class. We are the stars of the class are making mom and dad very proud! Dad can even let me off leash now and I will wait and come when asked. I am very happy here in my forever home and excited to expand our pack! UPDATE 6/18/10 - Yea!!! Mommy & Daddy are now married! Mommy told me this means I have a new last name. Geez I hope this is the last time I have to change it! It's been two months now and my sister Jerri and I are doing extremely well. Dad says I have some things we need to work on but overall he says I am just a cuddle mush. Mom says we will be starting doggy school on July 13th. I am not so sure about this dog school but I know SCBR would be very disaapointed in me if I didn't go and excel. More to come soon. XOXO Bruno UPDAT E4/29/10 - 1 month update~! Wow I can't believe it's been a month. Let's see where do I begin with Mr. Bruno....recenlty Mr. Bruno tore up his brand new bed! Oh and this was his second bed. I think he is trying to let us know that he does not like to be crated. He has slowed on his houdini act. I think he now realizes when Mark raises his voice to that leel he better stop in his tracks. : ) He has been getting much better about listening and seems to know the word stay. He is daddy's lap dog (weighing in at 57 lbs). Mark loves it and there is nothing cuter than a grown man (275 lbs)talking baby talk to his dog. UPDATE 4/8/10 - Bruno has definitely adjusted well to our home and family. He is definitely a daddy's boy. He has a little bit of seperation anxiety when one of us leaves the house but quickly recovers once he discovers their toy basket. Mommy had him try on some bunny ears for Easter and they were very cute! Bruno listens very well and is definitely not as stubborn as his sister. We had to buy harnesses to walk the dogs because we walk a minumum of 2 times a day and he pulls and the collar was hurting his neck. We are so happy as a family!!! The dogs love my stepson Josh and each other. We definitely get to see why they are called boxers on a daily basis. These dogs love to play and tease each other. That's all for now. More to come later! xoxoxo UPDATE 4/2/10 - I was adopted today!!! Get this craziness, I was re-united with my sister Jerri!!! I can’t wait to see what the future brings being in my new forever home with my sister Jerri! Life is always full of surprises! I hope my new parents are ready for all the energy and trouble Jerri and I are about to bring!! More updates to come!!! XOXOXO Bruno 4/2/10 - I got adopted today and still get to live with my sister, Jerri!!! 3/21/10 - Bruno arrived to us yesterday, after leaving his home, in NJ...He and his sister, Jerri, were both surrendered to the group. Bruno is a beautiful, smart, boy...He is still trying to figure out exactly what is going on, my hubby slept in the living room with him last night... He is great with children under 4 and up, he walks very well on a leash, he is solid white, but not deaf. He knows lots of tricks, like, "shake", (both paws), sit, stay, down, off, and best of all "high five"!! Not so good with kitties...I think he wants to play, but the cats don't get that. Bruno seems to have never been in a crate, he thinks he's being tortured...he's a talker, and cracks us up. He would be perfect in just about any home, and if you would adopt he and Jerri, I'm sure he would be thrilled! More later, as we get to know this magnificent pup... |
