UPDATE 11/23/10 - Junior seems to be adjusting well. He has quite a bit of seperation aniexty but we are working through that and he actually spends very little time in a crate daily. We currently have a crate that doesn't allow for a lot of movement and are replacing that so that may help him to be more comfortable. He is not doing well with our cats and we work to socialize them on a daily basis. Each day we are placing them in the same room and getting closer and closer. I think he just wants to play and well the cats don't get that. Junior has been to the grommers for a bath , brushing and nail trimming - he did very well. He has been on a few car rides with us and settles in nicely. He runs the backyard but does not try to jump the fence. We have had to teach Junior how to play but he is catching on well. He continues to take his Lyme meds and will do so until they are gone. We have switched his food to the wellness brand and he is accepting that nicely. It is obivious that he was allow  ed on the furniture and so we have made him his own bed with extra padding and blankets - he likes that. He's a little bit of a sissy and doesn't like going out if it's raining or cold - it's kind of funny. All in all he is doing very well and we are just completely smitten by him. I run a business from my house and teach craft classes here several times a week. We announced his arrival in our newsletter and he now sits in an adjecent room as we are doing classes. All the customers love him and he eats up the attention! My children lay with him and play and I have no worries at all! He never leaves my side and is just a joy to have, thank you! We have not secured obedience training yet but are working on that. And well, I know we shouldn't change their names but I just couldn't keep Junior knowing that it belonged to someones dead uncle. So he is affectionaltly known as RoNich Jr. A combination of the kids names all put together. Since we called him RoNich Jr each time we addressed   him he now completely answers to RoNich. He is incredibly smart! So RoNich is the highlight of our day and the kids hate to leave him but can't wait to come home from school. RoNich goes with me everyday to pick them up from school, riding in the van. He sits in my son's seat until they come out - it's very funny.

11/16/10 - Junior has been adopted!

11/14/10-Junior continues to be a great houseguest. He gets along with everyone here. And he really loves kids. Junior has gotten much better about being quiet in his crate. He has stopped the barking. He enjoys running in the yard with his four legged friends. Junior is going to the vets tomorrow to be updated on his shots and have heartworm test. He is more then ready to move into his new home. Don't let this boy get away he is definitely a keeper.

11/6/10 -
Junior was an owner surrneder today from a very loving family. Juniors family had a change in dynamics and felt he was spending to much time home alone. Junior was great in the car, loved the baby and has only had a great reaction to the dogs here. In Juniors home he lived with 3 cats and a baby, and he had been going to doggy daycare. Junior is a super nice boy that will make any home happy.
