| UPDATE 3/26/10 - Ozzie is doing much better. For the past three weeks we have been going back and forth to the vets. Ozzie kept having diarrhea. We are thinking it is an allergy to food. He is currently on a grain free diet. It seems to be working so far. I had him tested for allergies and I am awaiting the result. Although you would never guess that he was not feeling well. He is a big burst of energy and just loves to be outside. He is so wonderful this week we tried him without the leash and he was awesome he just wanted to stay near us. The only distraction was another dog. But all I had to do was yell "chicken" and he would come running for his chicken treat. He is completely potty trained, except for the happy pee. Sometimes he just gets so excited he can't hold it in. In the next few weeks he is going to begin dog training classes. Although he is already a good listener. Like I've said before we couldn't have asked for a better or more loving puppy than Ozzie. UPDATE 2/20/10 - Ozzie is back home from getting neutered yesterday. He is fast asleep on his bed. He was so happy to come back today he walked all over and quickly went to play with his toys. He was such a good sport about it all. He loves all the attention he gets when he walks through the vet's office. He is so adorable everyone has to stop and say hello. This week was a busy week for Ozzie because four boys came over to sleep over for the week. Ozzie was in love. He especially loved the baby. At first I thought something was wrong with him because he was so mellow and he was calm ( no jumping) then I realized he was just love struck. He wouldn't let the baby out of his sight. When I put the baby on the floor Ozzie would walk over give the baby a kiss and then lie down next to him. I even had a little boy over who was a bit intimidated by Ozzie size no problem though Ozzie must have realized this because when my nephew walked toward Ozzie, Ozzie lied down with his head down to let my nephew pet him. We really could not have asked for a better dog. Ozzie is continuing to work on Potty training. He goes "happy pee" when he is very excited. Over the week he has had a few accidents but we are still working. I am trying to use the bell. Although one day he got the courage to ring the bell( his first time)and it scared him. He ran so fast across the kitchen I couldn't help but laugh and of course I gave him lots of treats. I think though he is still scared. Now he just sits by the door and looks at you. UPDATE 1/29/10 - Ozzie is a sweet puppy. He has learned so much in the five days he has been with us. He gets along well with everyone and everything. He has met many new people and animals and has been such a love bug towards all of them. Ozzie knows how to sit. He learned how to go up and down stairs on the second and third day. It took him a bit longer to practice going down but now he does them with no problem. He even comes to us when we call his name. Ozzie is a big snuggler. His favorite thing to do is to cuddle with us and fall asleep in our laps. He is being crate trained and has taken a few day to get use to his new crate. He is getting better though. The past two days, he slept through the night with no barks or cries. On Monday, I took Ozzie to the vet. Everyone at the vet's office became instantly in love with Ozzie's awesome personality and his adorably good looks. The vet treated him for round worms and gave him some essential shots. He is scheduled to get neutered and have a few more shots on February 19th. After he gets neutered we are going to sign him up for Obedience training at the vet's office. Besides having round worm, Ozzie is in great shape. He loves to run around and play. Just not in the cold windy weather. 1/22/10 - Ozzie has been adopted! 12/31/09 - Hello everyone, Ozzie here again. Just look at what my FM is making me do!!! Again with these silly things on my head. I really love my FM but PLEASEEEEE come and save me from these embarrassing photo shoots. She keeps telling me that if I take these silly pictures, that someone is just gonna fall in love with my cute adorable face and come and take me away. I would really LOVE to spend my New Year with you and create many happy memories for us. I love to play. I play very well. I am working on leash training, but I really do not like the snow much. Not to do my duty in anyway. I have been sleeping through the night. FM is soooo happy with me. I have a couple of pee pee accidents in my crate, but that is it. FM is very proud of me. Like I said, I love being here, but please will someone come and save me from the pictures. What is my FM gonna make me wear next time. Ugh just the thought of it. I am the puppy you have been waiting for. I am full of love and am also very cute. I have the wrinkliest little face. We could have so much fun together. I know my new family is out there. Just come and get me okay. Love Ozzie 12/21/09 - Happy Holidays everyone. This is Ozzie here. I am soooo cute aren't I. My FM put this silly hat on me and made me take this picture. She said it may help me find my furrever home. I sure hope so. I could just picture myself running and playing catch with a super forever family. I am a very good boy. My FM just bought me a spiffy new collar and leash. Now I really look handsome. She said I need to learn leash training. Not really sure if I like it or not. She said that I have to keep trying until I get the hang of it. She says she really hopes it doesn't take too long. She brought me out in the snow for the first time today (TWICE). It was really cold but I kept sticking my nose in it and shaking my head. FM was laughing so much. She wishes she had a working computer (other than the laptop) so she could take pictures and videos. I was not interested in going potty in the snow brrr...... Much warmer inside. Besides there is sooooo much snow that it came up past my belly. My FM has me crate training too. My sibs and I are all in crates now for the night or when FM is not home. It's okay I guess. After a little fussing last night (the first night) I fell asleep and slept through the night. I did okay, I had NO accidents through the night. It was funny, FM was doing this silly dance lol. I can still fit into a larger sized Christmas stocking. I would look so adorable with a bow on top of my head (maybe instead of this silly hat) under your tree. There is still time. Please take me home either for Christmas or let me start the new year in a furrever home. I promise to give you a lifetime of precious memories. 11/24/09 - The puppies arrived on Sunday and are very active and healthy. Such cute little babies. They each have a personality. So cute. Pup 9 is full of boxer wrinkles and the energy to go with them. Just look at his eyes. I am totally in love. So cute. The little puppies would fit perfect in a stocking????? Put a pretty red or green bow on them and "ho ho ho". Make this the best Holiday ever. Bring home your forever friend. |
| **NOTE: Because I am a puppy, I will need someone who is home most of the time like work-at-home, retired, homemaker, etc. |
